On-site staff development is best suited for a school that is interested in studying a topic(s) across a period of time. These visits typically include 2-3 teacher meetings of 45-90 minutes and 2-3 classroom visits to put the study topic into action.

These visits produce content and coaching cycles that are typically supported over several days, either consecutively or across the school year. You can anticipate that educators in attendance will work collaboratively with their colleagues as well as visit with students to receive a hands on approach to learning.

One day workshops are best suited for a school that desires to take a deep-dive into a single topic. With a wide array of topics to study such as small group instruction, efficient feedback styles, read aloud practices, analyzing student writing, and text complexity to name a few, these days allow your campus to put their school- wide learning targets to action.
These visits are great for teacher in-service days or grade band/committee/team learning (equity teams, campus literacy teams, etc.). You can anticipate that the educators in attendance will work with their colleagues in close collaboration to study, explore, and design plans for their new learning.
